Leafs gut one out against the worst team in the league last night in Chicago! The OT-winning goal came from William Nylander neatly tucked in between the 5 hole of the Hawks goaltender, Kevin Lankinen. I’m hoping this win is enough to get them to pull their heads out of their arses. The Leafs have been playing awful to start the year.
No shortage of frost last night on the ground. That officially ended the flowerbeds. Susan and I discussed when we are going to get a chance to clean out the said flowerbeds. With so much rain in the forecast, kids hockey and busy real estate business, where does one find the time?
It’s truly amazing how quickly you can burn up a morning just returning emails. Obviously, that’s what I did this morning. This afternoon I went out to Oak Lake to list a property that has 2 acres, a couple of trailers and an old cabin. Somebody could buy this property and make it into a terrific cottage property. Check out the video and see the creek that runs right through it. I would be tempted if I bought the property to build as close to that creek as I could because I love listening to the sound of water running. There is a footprint that would be perfect for a Cottage. Check out the video here!
After the listing, I headed to my cottage and put the boat to bed for the winter. It’s very bittersweet to do this job. I do love winter because I am a snowmobiler but there’s something to be said about a boat on a summer day!
We had a beautiful dinner and Susan rushed off to Renee’s hockey practice. I am downstairs in my office watching, or I should say listening to the Tampa lightning game and finishing up my listing paperwork and photos for Oak Lake. I’m excited about this listing I think it’s kind of cool!
